(Nancy Piette photo) with a pot-luck dinner to follow. Our December meeting is followed by our holiday party. We look forward to getting to know the members of our community and fellow snowmobile enthusiasts. All are welcome! Look for the WSB booth at the Sled Expo, Oct. 15 and 16 at the Big E Grounds in West Springfield, Mass. Bring a copy of your valid snowmobile registration with you to purchase your TMA on-site. We will also have Woodford SnoBusters clothing for sale so you can represent on and off the trails! A Vermont snowmobile safety course is required to be completed by persons born after July 1, 1983 who are 12 years of age or older and plan to operate a snowmobile on Vermont’s Statewide Snowmobile Trail System. The SnoBusters have five scheduled courses this season. Classes will be held at our maintenance facility in Woodford from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 5, Dec. 3, Jan. 7, and Feb. 4. Lisa Michaud will also offer the course in East Hampton, Conn on Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Details of all of our events can be found on our website our updated Facebook page or you may now follow us on Twitter at @SnoBustersVT. Now for the obligatory plea for volunteers. While you are out enjoying that incredible day of snowmobiling, with the brush cleared back, riding over sturdy bridges, on well signed, freshly groomed trails, from nicely plowed parking lots, just remind yourself that it would not be possible without snowmobilers’ most valuable resource, volunteers! Please join the SnoBusters or a club near you in helping to maintain our trail system. Think Snow!
