When riding in Southern Vermont, be sure to put this on your list of places to ride to. The easiest way to get to the Stone Hearth by snowmobile is from S-32 off Corridor 12, not far from the Chester Lovers Lane parking lot. At the Stone Hearth, you can enjoy a casual lunch or dinner with many other sledheads. In search of a place to stay overnight? Park your trailer and jump right onto the trail early the next day. Need gas for your sled? Ask the owner. Though it is not an official gas station, he keeps gas on hand to help those riders in need. Sheldon is an active VAST volunteer. He is a groomer for the Chester Snowmobile Club and works regularly on trail maintenance and signage.
